About

About Our Journey: From One Shop to a Trusted Name

In 1991, Mike Kelley founded Riverside Collision with a clear vision—to provide higher-quality collision repair than the competition. That same day, his son Michael began working alongside him, starting out by sweeping floors.

As the business steadily grew, Mike recognized that the future of Riverside Collision was in west Kennewick. In 1998, he purchased one of the two buildings the business still operates in today. During this time, Michael advanced from body technician to estimator, gradually taking on more management responsibilities.

By 2001, Riverside Collision had doubled its square footage to accommodate growing demand. In 2004, Michael officially purchased the business from his dad, continuing the family legacy with a commitment to excellence and customer care.

William Truscott

Claims Administrator

Originally from Sacramento, California, I relocated to Indiana in 1972, where I later married my wife, Denita Rogers. Together, we’ve raised six wonderful children who continue to bring us joy and make us proud with all they accomplish.  Before beginning my civilian career, I proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. That experience shaped my dedication to service and commitment to helping others.

I currently serve as a Claims Administrator at Riverside Collision, where I’ve been part of the team for under a year. I truly enjoy the opportunity to assist people through the repair process and make a meaningful difference in their experience. Outside of work, I have a passion for electronics and enjoy being an amateur radio operator. I also appreciate the simple pleasures in life—like a good hamburger and a chocolate milkshake.
